EBL was a drop off location for the 2018 CASHE Toy Drive benefiting Toys for Tots. CASHE members collected donated toys from October 15 to November 14. The collected toys were delivered to Toys for Tots in late November.

EBL Sr. Consultant David Snyder was part of a distinguished list of presenters at the Maryland Inspector training program in Laurel, MD. This Nov. 7th event was held in cooperation with the Office of the State Fire Marshal and the membership of the Capital Region Fire Sprinkler Association (CRFSA).

EBL was at the 36th Annual Cheseapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering Seminar/Exhibition at the Hershey Lodge in September. EBL has been a sponsor at this event for over 10 years.
Congratulations to Senior Fire Alarm Specialist Bob Baker. Bob was honored for his 20 plus years of service with the MD DC VA Automatic Fire Alarm Association. He served many terms as President and Director from 1997 to 2018.
EBL Principal Jeff McBride was elected as University of Maryland – Fire Protection Engineering Alumni Club President at the club meeting held in conjunction with the NFPA Conference in Las Vegas.
The Alumni Club presented a check to the University of Maryland Department of Fire Protection Engineering for $15,000.

Congratulations to EBL Principal Ed Fraczkowski! During the IFMA Chesapeake Chapter annual awards gathering at the Valley Mansion by Martin's last evening, Ed was honored with the “Extraordinary Service Award” for his role as president of the Chapter for the past three years. He will remain on the Executive Board of the Chapter serving as Past President.
EBL Principals, Bob Stratemeyer and Tony Kleponis were manning the EBL booth at the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) MD and DC Spring Conference. The conference was held from May 21-22 in Ocean City, MD. It was our 16th year exhibiting at the conference.
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Tim Dougherty. Tim was our CFO for 20 years and had been working with EBL for over 30 years. We lost a dear friend and colleague.
