EBL was a sponsor at the Little Kids, Big Dreams Annual Gala. The gala is for the Empower4Life non-profit organization that serves Baltimore and Harford County homeless youth through programs that teach them how to get and stay happy and healthy.

The bowling event was a benefit for the animal groups of Pitties and Purrs, Senior Dog Sanctuary and Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland. EBL had a booth at the MD ASBO Spring Conference in Ocean City, MD. The Maryland Association of School Business Officials provides programs and services to promote the highest standards of school business practices.
Team EBL won the putting contest at the CASHE 30th Annual Golf Outing at Mountain Branch in Joppa, MD. The four team members each had putts close to the pin so that the combined score put the EBL team in the lead.
EBL CFO Ron Grodzinsky spoke to the members of the 2023 ACEC/MD Leadership Program. Ron was one of the speakers in the Finance and Profitability session. The ACEC/MD Leadership Program explores key aspects of A/E businesses for up-and-coming Maryland engineering leaders.
EBL Engineers, LLC, a Baltimore-based multi-discipline engineering firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of Rashid Nadeem to the position of Chief Electrical Engineer.
Mr. Nadeem, a registered electrical engineer in multiple states, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University in 1999 and has been with EBL for nineteen years. He has distinguished himself with his extensive professional experience providing services for various local, state, federal government, and DoD agencies. He has designed normal and emergency power distribution systems and substations for mission critical and general use facilities and has developed detailed sequences of construction plans for those facilities. In addition to being LEED certified, he is familiar with both the IBC and National Electrical Code standards. In addition, Mr. Nadeem is a member of the Electric League of Maryland.
His work as Chief Electrical Engineer includes overseeing the quality and execution of all aspects of our electrical engineering projects and mentoring the electrical engineers within the department.
EBL Principal Jeffery McBride gave a presentation on Dry-Pipe Fire Sprinkler Systems as part of the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers Continuing Education Series. Dry-Pipe fire sprinkler systems can exhibit short- and long-term maintenance issues for building owners, property management and design professionals. His presentation outlined design considerations to help mitigate problems and discussed how to identify and possibly make corrective action on existing systems.
