EBL Principal Named Commandant of the Engineering Academy of the State Guard Association of the United States

EBL Principal and MDDF Lieutenant Colonel Edward Hubner has been named Commandant of the Engineering Academy of the State Guard Association of the United States (SGAUS).

The Academy was founded to provide consistency in training and credentialing of engineers in the various State Guard units around the country for service in pre and post disaster events. LTC(MD) Hubner replaces retiring BG(MD) Brian Kelm at this post. Ed continues to serve as the Commanding Officer of the Maryland Engineering Emergency Response Team, 121 Engineer Regiment, Maryland Defense Force as well as Principal Engineer at EBL Engineers, LLC.

EBL Principal Installed as Member of the College of Fellows, MDSPE

EBL Principal, Edward A Hubner, PE, CxA, was inducted into the College of Fellows of the Maryland Society of Professional Engineers.

“In recognition of his outstanding and distinguished career in the practice of Engineering; his demonstration of exemplary personal and professional qualities as a role model for all Engineers; and for having strengthened and advanced the Engineering Profession”.

EBL Announces the Licensure of Daniel A. Bentzen in the State of Maryland

Mr. Bentzen is accomplished in the analysis and design of fire alarm and detection systems as well as sprinkler systems. He has provided code review and consulting for engineers and architects on life safety, fire alarm, smoke control, plan review and fire pump installations. He is also skilled in computer fire modeling.
