Baltimore, MD — EBL Engineers, LLC, a leading multi-discipline engineering firm based in Baltimore, is proud to announce the promotions of Jamie S. Raithel, PE, LEED AP, and Daniel A. Bentzen, PE to the position of Associate Principal. This designation is earned by those individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and project management skills and are recognized as future leaders within the firm.
Jamie S. Raithel, a licensed mechanical engineer, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 2000 and has dedicated over twenty-five years to EBL Engineers. He has distinguished himself in energy engineering and analysis, central plant design, and campus distribution systems. Mr. Raithel has built strong relationships with clients across commercial, industrial, institutional, and ultra-luxury residential sectors. In addition, he is committed to mentoring junior staff and sharing his expertise in mechanical engineering principles and practices. Mr. Raithel will serve as the Associate Principal for the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Construction Administration Departments.
Daniel A. Bentzen, a licensed fire protection engineer, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland in 2011 and has been with EBL Engineers for fifteen years. Mr. Bentzen is highly accomplished in the analysis and design of fire alarm and detection systems, as well as automatic fire sprinkler systems. In his role as senior project manager, he has provided expert code review and consulting services for engineers and architects on life safety, building codes, fire alarm systems, fire sprinklers, fire pumps, and smoke control installations. Mr. Bentzen will serve as the Associate Principal for the Fire Protection Engineering Department and our EBL Fire Engineering division.
