It was a great day for EBL's Annual Open House / Oktoberfest. Catering by Das Bierhalle and Andy Nelson's. Music by The Edelweiss Band.

We were all set up at the CASHE Seminar in Cambridge, MD. The Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering seminar sessions focused on the design and maintenance of health care facilities, from emergency preparedness plans to patient-centered design. EBL was a sponsor of the seminar.
EBL at NCEES Conference
EBL Principal Ed Hubner was in New Orleans at the NCEES Conference. The vision of NCEES is to provide leadership in professional licensure of engineers and surveyors through uniform laws, licensing standards, and professional ethics in order to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the public and to shape the future of professional licensure.
EBL at Vandenberg Space Force Base
Rocket launch! EBL Principal Ed Hubner and project team members from Tetra Tech, KZF Design and Tigerbrain gathered to watch the June 4th SpaceX Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
EBL at ASBO Conference
EBL Principals, Tony Kleponis and Ed Hubner were making a splash at the ASBO Spring Conference in Ocean City, MD. The theme for the conference was Discover a Sea of Knowledge. EBL was in booth 431 and decorated with sharks. The Association of School Business Officials of Maryland promotes the standards of school business practices through professional development, recognition, and the management of available resources.
EBL Principal Spoke at MDSPE Awards Reception
EBL Principal, Edward Hubner, was a speaker at the MD Society of Professional Engineers (MDSPE) Engineers Reception and Awards Night on May 13. He was also presented with his NSPE Fellow certificate. EBL Sponsored Putting Contest at CASHE Golf Event
EBL had a new format for the putting contest at the Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering (CASHE) Annual Golf event. Putting for prizes. The idea was to hit an item on the putting green to claim it as a prize.
EBL CFO Gave Presentation to Future Leaders
This week, CFO Ron Grodzinsky gave a presentation on Financial Statements to the members of ACEC/MD's 2025 Leadership Program. The American Council of Engineering Companies has a program that prepares attendees for leadership roles. The multi-week program covers a variety of topics on running a firm in the engineering and design industry.

Celebrating Engineers Week
EBL joined those celebrating Engineers Week (from February 16-22, 2025). This event started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). The week of activities and events focuses on raising public awareness of the contributions of engineers to quality of life. The goal is to inspire students to pursue the education and training to become an engineer.
