EBL Principals, Tony Kleponis and Ed Hubner were making a splash at the ASBO Spring Conference in Ocean City, MD. The theme for the conference was Discover a Sea of Knowledge. EBL was in booth 431 and decorated with sharks. The Association of School Business Officials of Maryland promotes the standards of school business practices through professional development, recognition, and the management of available resources.
EBL Principal, Edward Hubner, was a speaker at the MD Society of Professional Engineers (MDSPE) Engineers Reception and Awards Night on May 13. He was also presented with his NSPE Fellow certificate. EBL had a new format for the putting contest at the Chesapeake Area Society of Healthcare Engineering (CASHE) Annual Golf event. Putting for prizes. The idea was to hit an item on the putting green to claim it as a prize.
This week, CFO Ron Grodzinsky gave a presentation on Financial Statements to the members of ACEC/MD's 2025 Leadership Program. The American Council of Engineering Companies has a program that prepares attendees for leadership roles. The multi-week program covers a variety of topics on running a firm in the engineering and design industry.
Congratulations Bob Baker! Celebrating 45 years with EBL.
EBL joined those celebrating Engineers Week (from February 16-22, 2025). This event started in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). The week of activities and events focuses on raising public awareness of the contributions of engineers to quality of life. The goal is to inspire students to pursue the education and training to become an engineer.
