Project Information

EBL was awarded a contract modification to provide Construction Administration Services for a $5M project at the USPS Processing and Distribution Center in Baltimore, MD. The award was the result of field investigations, a study, and design for the replacement and upgrade of the entire electrical distribution system for the 1,000,000 SF facility.

Due to the critical nature of the building operations, the U.S. Postal Service requested enhanced construction phase services and tasked EBL with providing daily on-site construction oversight services.

We provided submittal reviews, attendance at construction meetings, in-office consultation, review of change order proposals, punchlists of observed deficiencies, and as-built documentation. We were on site daily for 24 months of the 28-month construction period to work with the contractor to oversee progress and assist in phasing the work to avoid interruptions to the facility’s critical operations.
