EBL Fire Engineering?s relationship with the Mercy Medical Center extends back to approximately 1997. Our first work project was the inspection and preparation of the Statement of Conditions® (SOC) for the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). We have completed the triennial SOC?s for Mercy since that time. In 2004, our SOC services were extended to the ambulatory care facility in the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Center at Mercy.

EBL Fire Engineering also provides building code, fire code, Life Safety Code, and special hazard consultations for Mercy?s in-house fire prevention and facilities staff. Over the last two years we have also been involved with the design and peer review of numerous in-house construction projects mainly through the architectural staff of MKA Associates. These projects include not only the Mercy Medical Center, but other Mercy properties including, but not limited to, the Calvert Street Garage, the Harry and Jeannette Weinberg Center at Mercy, Harford Gardens, and the Shamrock Building. Our services also include field inspections, consultation, reporting, and interface with City officials and contractors on an as-needed basis.
