EBL was awarded a mechanical/electrical indefinite delivery contract for the General Services Administration, National Capital Region in 1999 with 4 option years exercised. The contract (GS11P99YTD0140) had a Not-to-Exceed limit of $250,000/year. The following is a list of task orders completed under this contract:
Electrical Distribution Upgrade, Potomac Annex: This project consisted of a site survey including load calculation for seven (7) buildings as well as the design of a new electrical distribution system, switchboards and feeders.
Upgrade Garage Ventilation, H.U.D. Building: Upgrade garage ventilation including the replacement of existing fans based on current code requirements. Design also included new controls with CO2 monitoring and architectural upgrades to replace walls, doors, and louvers as required.
Replace Cooling Towers, One White Flint North: Replacement of cooling towers located on the 20th floor of high-rise office building. Project also included replacement of air handling unit valves, fan assemblies, thermometers and pressure gauges throughout the building.
Replace Air Compressor No. 3, GSA Boiler Plant: Provided mechanical and electrical services to replace an existing air compressor at the GSA boiler plant.
New Executive Office Building Heating Alternatives Evaluation: Evaluated Heating Plant installation in New Executive Office Building in lieu of using underground steam distribution system.
Reagan Building Press Conference Room Air Conditioner: Designed an HVAC system suitable for a televised conference room utilized by the Offcie of Homeland Security.
Vehicle Barriers and Guard Booth, Regional Office Building: Provided a guard booth, vehicle barriers, conduits for communication and security systems at the Regional Office Building for GSA.
Ronald Reagan Building Atrium Study: Study to determine cause of leaks, present recommended actions for repairs along with cost estimates.
