Senior Mechanical Engineer
The position of Senior Mechanical Engineer encompasses all aspects of the design and follow-up of designs for mechanical and plumbing systems in private, public and governmental engineering projects. The responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer include: calculation of heating and cooling loads, system layouts, equipment selection, existing condition documentation, code analysis, life cycle cost analysis, and cost estimating. In addition to design related tasks, the applicant should be able to demonstrate a history of project management and experience with leading and directing a group of engineers. Familiarity with common software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc…) and local, state, and national codes is necessary. Approximately 15% of the time, on-site work will be required. A minimum of seven years experience as a mechanical engineer is preferred. The applicant shall have a valid PE license.
