Mechanical Engineer
The position of Mechanical Engineer encompasses all aspects of the design and follow-up of designs for mechanical and plumbing systems in private, public and governmental engineering projects. The responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include: calculation of heating and cooling loads, system layouts, equipment selection, existing condition documentation, code analysis, life cycle cost analysis, and cost estimating. Familiarity with common software (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc…) and local, state, and national codes is necessary. Approximately 15% of the time, on-site work will be required. A minimum of four years experience as a mechanical engineer is preferred. The applicant shall either have a valid PE license or have the ability to obtain a PE license in the near future.
