Mechanical Designer

This position requires the knowledge and application of fundamental mechanical system layouts, drawings, bills of materials, sequences of operation, valve and damper schedules, DDC panel layouts to meet the intent of the project plans, specifications and contract documents to produce products and services that are of extremely high quality.The applicant shall be able to analyze plans and specifications to determine project requirements and prepare basic deliverables and products such as: presentation materials, calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates related to heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems for residential, commercial, and governmental facilities. Perform construction administration duties such as: shop drawing review, RFI responses, and construction inspections. Work within a project team environment and possess good presentation and client interface skills. Support engineering review process. Strong organization and communication skills required. A minimum of two years experience with AutoCAD is preferred. Ability to design with respect to constructability. Must be able to meet project deadlines. A high level of attention to detail is a must.
