About Us - History
EBL Engineers, Inc. was founded in 1972 by Benjamin Egerton, Moritz Bukowitz and George Lengyel with a focus on mechanical and electrical engineering. To meet the expanding needs of the firm's clientele, EBL began the development of what is today EBL's Fire Engineering Division through the acquisition of Hanna Fire Engineering in 1988. In 2001, long-standing sub-consultant Purdum and Jeschke was purchased, which enabled EBL to provide a more comprehensive base of services including structural engineering.
Today, EBL Engineers, LLC is a multi-discipline engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, fire protection and structural engineering.
