Administrative Assistant
The EBL Code Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant with knowledge of the engineering industry for a part-time position. Attention to fine detail and strong organization and communication skills are essential. The person must be able to interact with future and current clients both verbally and through written correspondence as directed. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: scheduling meetings and appointments; assisting with scheduling of daily in-house tasks of the engineers in the EBL Code Consulting Group; and review of reports, studies, and correspondence for overall consistency with EBL’s standards for reports. A strong background in marketing is required as the Administrative Assistant will be responsible to assist in the marketing of the EBL Code Consulting Group and EBL Fire Engineering. The Administrative Assistant will lead the effort to produce MS PowerPoint presentations for marketing and technical sessions. The Administrative Assistant will make themselves available, as time permits, to assist other personnel at EBL Fire Engineering and EBL Engineers, LLC, in the execution of their duties.
A working knowledge of the field of engineering and the basics of the design and construction process are essential. Excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills are a must. Computer skills shall include proficiency in MS Office including, but not limited to, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat products and the Newforma platform is a plus. The ability to print/plot documents from AutoCAD is beneficial.
